When I install and deploy the Rad Editor for MOSS control, the RadEditorList.ascx file only gets copied to one of the nodes in the web farm, resulting in erratic behaviour depending on which server a user goes to. Our manual solution is simply to copy the file into place after the deploysolution, but, as a developer, I'm curious why this is happening.
Here's how we are deploying the solution:
%STSADM% -o addsolution -filename .\RadEditorMOSS.wsp
%STSADM% -o deploysolution -name RadEditorMOSS.wsp -immediate -allowGacDeployment -url https://OUR.URL.HERE

I personally deploy the solution using the following commands.
stsadm -o addsolution -filename RadEditorMOSS.wsp
stsadm -o deploysolution -name RadEditorMOSS.wsp -immediate -allcontenturls -allowgacdeployment
