When using the ImageManager to insert images into the RadEditor, users would like to be able to right-click the image and edit it's properties. While this option is currently in place and configured, there is an issue when attempting to accomplish this on the first insert, on the first right-click.

>Start/Refresh page with RadEditor (important!)
>Insert image via ImageManager
>Right-click image...Properties
>Properties are all empty, can edit but cannot click 'OK', only 'Cancel' (Img1)
>Click 'Cancel'
>Right-click image...Properties
>Properties are now correct and available for edit (Img2)

How can we fix this so that the properties are correct and available for edit on the first attempt? This provides a serious usability issue for us. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Eric,

I have already answered your support ticket on the subject, for convenience I will paste my answer here as well:

Since 2013 Q3 release of or control all FileBrowser dialogs have been redesigned, so, looking at the provided images I can assume one of the following things:
  • you are using controls with version earlier than 2013.3.1015. If so - can you try whether you can reproduce the same problem in our online demos which are running with the latest version of the controls?
  • you are using RadEditor with enabled external dialogs and the files for the dialogs are taken from a version earlier than 2013.3.1015. If this is the case, you will need to update the dialog files to match the controls version used in your application.

Please, give the suggestions above a try and let me know how it goes.
