Hello,
Could you specify what exactly you mean by: NumericTextBox won't hold focus. I tested the focus of NumericTextBox under Safari 7.1 and it works as expected in the following demo:

Try it out on your end and see if you are still able to observed the described problem. If you manage to replicate the same behavior in it, provide step by step instructions hot to reproduce this issue locally.
