The desired feature is unfortunately not supported by the Kendo UI mobile application.
In general, we are currently engaged in other high priority tasks and do not plan updates for the Kendo UI hybrid components in the short and medium term.
If you are and will be focused on mobile development, I suggest checking our new product NativeScript, which offers better solutions for developing native mobile applications for different platforms from a common code base using Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript.
