I've noticed that when scrolling through grid using remote virtualization, except for the initial call for data (which only happens once), when scrolling down, every time it needs more data it makes two requests with the exact same request, please see my screenshots attached.

The first screenshot shows the information from the initial data loading call; see how it only requests the top 100.

The two other screenshots are after I scrolled down on the grid until the loading animation showed.  Then two requests are made and as the screenshots show, the requests are identical - both requesting the top 100 after skipping 100.

These screenshots were taken using Google Chrome (haven't tried in other browsers), and using your demo page as the test page.

We have a web application using remote virtualization and it is happening in our app with our query, which is extremely large but it seemed to be taking even longer than expected to run, which made me find this issue - it actually causes the server to run the query twice. Could someone please look into this asap as we are trying to create a demo-able proof of concept and at the moment, this doubling of an already slow query is not helping us sell our concept.

I am trying to handle the keyup function on a kendocombobox however it seems as though I can only use the change event. Is there a way to catch the keyup events as well?

In the latest build (2013.3.1414) and previous builds, the value(value:number):void method in RangeSlider is incorrect.  It should be:

value( value: Array<number>): void;

When a file is uploaded I need to change the saveUrl to add parameters for a post. This code has no effect on the saveUrl.

This is similar to adding a query string... saveUrl is already committed by the time the event onUploadFires?

I am working on Kendo DatePicker control in MVC 4.0, and we have to culture in the application. 1) en-US and 2) ar-SA.

    It is working fine for en-US but when I set culture as ar-SA, DatePicker change date as per culture in UI it is fine for me while in MVC controller side Model's Date-time property giving same date as UI.  for e.g  01/Feb/2014 is display as 01/04/35(dd/MM/yy) in ar-SA. 
Now , I  won't to save only en-US date like 01/Feb/2014 in database side.
   One more issue(for ar-SA) in client side  "dd/MMMM/yyyy" is not able to post the  form , i have also check        $("form").kendoValidator().data().kendoValidator.validate()== true . 
please provide your suggestion as soon as possible, it is argent for us.

Hi,

I have a kendo grid with configuration as editable='inline' or editable='incell'.
In the case of incell editing,
- when I click in a cell, cell immediately move to edit mode.
- Now I click on another cell then the previous selected cell which is in edit mode move back to read-only state.\
In the case of inline editing,
- when I click on edit button, cell immediately move to edit mode and two buttons update and cancel created by grid.
- Now when I clicked on update or cancel, respective callback handler called and grid cell moved to read-only state.

I just want to know is there any way (may be some event) through which I can detect that grid changes its mode from edit to read-only(required for incell editing).

I just upgraded my application from  v2013.3.1119 to v2013.3.1324.

I am using flat so I upgraded two files: "kendo.mobile.min.js" and "kendo.mobile.flat.min.css"

Now when I use the AppBuilder emulator in iPhone or iPhone 5 mode the footer is cut off by 20 pixels (displayed too low)
However when I deploy to the device the footer is 20 pixels too high (displayed too high and the header does not contain the 20 pixel padding in the header)

Is there some other file that needs updating?
