Bind #text field

I'm stuck!
My data looks something like this:

"@type":"object",

"expand":{"@type":"string","#text":"editmeta,

"key":{"@type":"string","#text":"10005"}

}

and I'm trying to bind the key['#text'] field to a column in my grid as:

$("#grid").kendoGrid({

columns: [

{

field: "key",

title: "key",

}

],

dataSource: {

data: data.issues.item,

pageSize: 10

},

selectable: true,

pageable: true,

});

The sample above only returns "{object Object}", which I expected, but I can't figure out how to get the #text field ;) I've tried defining a schema with the source and I've also used "key[\"#text\"] without any success...

Passing data from child window

Hello

I have a window control to get the customer details from user. Along with i have search button, to find out existing customer details for editing. For search, a separate kendo window control is used by showing the list of customer in the grid.

Here how to pass the customer id from search window to customer window after selecting the particular customer in grid view. ie, how to get the customer id from child window to parent window.

button styling on Computer Browsers and IPAD Browsers is not the same

Good day,

I've been trying to work around with new Kendo Mobile Q2 trial release.

I've noticed that the colors of the buttons on my IPAD Browsers is not the same with the one that's displayed on my computer browsers. I've also tried the trial version of Kendo Mobile Q1 trial release and color's worked fine, however, when upgraded to the Q2 release, the output is not the same.

Proper format of static HTML table with Kendo grid Style?

I am trying to keep consistency in my app with the Kendo css I've chosen. However, I am having issues figuring out how to apply the styles to a STATIC HTML table with no functionality. I DO NOT want to create the table dynamically, I just want to statically apply the styles to a regular HTML table.

The issue is I cannot get the correct format with the divs and the table itself correct. I've tryed numerous formats and cannot get the header correct and cannot get rid of the scroll bar to the right.

Listview last child background color.

Hi

I'm trying to change the background-color for all the listview items, but the last item doesn't take the corner radius at the bottom into account. Is there any way to get around this?

How to know if Kendo UI is compatible with the phone device?

Hello, I´m currently developing a mobile web app.

On some cellphones (old ones like BlackBerry 8520, or Samsung Chat 335) Kendo UI does not works... an empty page is shown to the user.

Is there any method I can use to detect when the device is not compatible or it does not support Kendo UI... so I can redirect or show a message??

This is very important in our case so we don´t get angry users... by a bad experience, they think this is not profesional if they doesn´t see any message.

Disabling a listview item

I'm using a listview <ul> in a settings page, and I'd like to be able to enable and disable each <li> line when it makes sense via Javascript. For instance, I have one line which shows how many records have been found on a server, such as "32 Records > ", which the user could then click on to go to a view of those records.

However, if the network was not available, that item should read "Offline ", in gray text with no arrow.

I can make it look just right if I remove the <a> tag around the text, and apply style="color:#808080" to the <li> item. But I can't get the appearance and behavior to change programmatically by, for instance, changing properties like the disabled of the <a>.

Suggestions?

[Solved] How to reload Grid?

I have added some text fields above my grid. I was wanting to attach a change event on these fields so that the grid reloads when the field are updated. I was wondering if there is a way to reload or re-initialize the grid?
