Hi,

I have a problem with Kendo grid multiple grouping.

I want to display multi column grouping with a single header. Currently it is showing as tree hierarchy for multi column grouping.

I have attached a file which shows Radgrid grouping demo and I want to show this by using Kendo grid grouping.

Could you pls suggest any overcome for this?

Hello,

Thank you for the details.

Currently, the described result is not officially supported by the jQuery version of the Grid. It could be possible, to use a custom group header template. Then as the other headers will still be rendered, they have to be removed from the DOM, but this could lead to unexpected rendering issues:

https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/javascript/ui/grid/configuration/columns.groupheadertemplate

I can suggest submitting a feature request in our feedback portal and based on its popularity we may implement it a future release:
