Is it possible to have a foreign key column in the grid when the field does not exist in the model

I have a situation where i need a foreign key column in a grid and the field doesn't exist in the model.   Is there a way to do this?

Hello Larry,

No, this is not supported. At least the key for the foreign key column must be part of the grid data source.
