Below is the list of ASP.NET MVC UI components you can expect in the upcoming 2021 releases. As we continously expand and grow the product, components and features that are already delivered as part of the Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC roadmap are marked with ✔.
In 2021 we will be shipping a TaskBoard component as a part of our Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC. The control will allow you to create Kanban-like boards where you can add and visually organize tasks by moving them to respective columns based on their progress and development.
Another new addition you can expect in 2021 is a Skeleton component. Its main purpose is to display a placeholder with a content preview before data gets loaded on the page.
We will also be introducing an ActionSheet component whose purpose is to showcases a panel with available contextual actions for users to perform. It usually appears from the bottom of the screen and it complements its primary content. The component makes usage on mobile devices easier and convenient.
In 2021 the ASP.NET MVC Grid will be boosted with the following features, requested via the user feedback portal:
✔ Export Grid data to CSV
✔ Exportable property for Grid columns
✔ Modern Column Menu design - organize items in the column menu (reorder or group)

We will add the functionality to further expand the already robust ASP.NET MVC Editor component:

The ASP.NET MVC TreeList will be further enhanced with the option to Filter Row, which will make filtering content in the TreeList easier, and a Row Template feature that will allow you to further customize the component.
In 2021 we will be making improvements to the Map component and we will be updating our provider from Bing to Azure in order to continue integration with the Microsoft offering.
We will also be enhancing our ASP.NET MVC Drawer component with the feature to support hierarchical items. Developers will be able to define list and sub-list items.
The Scheduler will be enhanced with three new features – a Grouping Support for defining child groups in each parent group, a Year View option and an All-Day Events option that will showcase 24-hour events as regular across the whole day.
The MultiSelect component will be further improved with the option to display a DropDown Arrow inside the element.

The TextArea and TextBox will soon provide the configuration option to turn on or off the Character Counter feature. This ensures better user experience by giving a visibility of the character count as the user is typing in.
For long running requests that need to be canceled by the user, we are introducing a CancellationToken Parameter in ToDataSourceResultAsync.
With the official release of Bootstrap 5 coming soon, we will be working on providing support and aligning our Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC components with the release of the Bootstrap version.

The new Floating Action Button UI component will let you easily set a primary action related to context content on the page.
We will expand the navigational components collection with Bottom Nav Component – a great companion of the App Bar component we just shipped with R3 2020, we will add
The RadioButtonGroup is a single selection component from a group of Radio Buttons. The RadioButtonGroup control provides multiple benefits - from ease of configurations to styling and keyboard accessibility of the group.
The CheckBoxGroup component is a multi-selection component that will let you easily style and manage groups of CheckBoxes.
In 2021 we will add grouping functionality to the ListView component – a highly requested item in Telerik feedback portal.
Shipped in R3 2020, the TileLayout component quickly became a favorite one and, in this release, we will enhance it with ability to dynamically add and remove tiles from it.
