We are excited to announce the new components and features that will be shipped with Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC product in the upcoming 2021/early 2022 releases.

Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC

New & Improved PivotGrid Component

New component
Technology and UX trends change quickly and our tools need to change with them in order to ensure that you can take advantage. We are taking a fresh look at the PivotGrid, redesigning, and redeveloping it. You will find the new component faster, more customizable, and more pleasing to your users.

Admin Dashboard Demo App & Project Template

Improvement
We will be shipping a new ASP.NET MVC Admin Dashboard Demo Application with multiple Telerik UI components to interact with and see in action - Grid, Form, TileLayout, Charts and more. Along with the demo app, we will also add new Visual Studio project template that will help you quickly create new ASP.NET MVC projects based on the admin dashboard template.

Circular Progress Bar

New component
With the addition of the CircularProgressBar UI component, you will be able to visualize execution progress with animated circular shapes with determinate and indeterminate states, segments, and customizable ranges in different colors.  

Editor Undo & Redo Features

New feature

The UI for ASP.NET MVC Editor component will be enhanced with built-in functionality for undo and redo user operations.

Design Kits for Figma

Improvement

The Design Kits for Figma originally shipped with R3 2021 release will continuously grow to include all Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC components with their detailed anatomical structures, colors, indicators, and icons. The included building blocks and elements will enable smooth collaboration between designers and developers and ease the efforts related to customizing styles or implementing their own personalized branding.

GridLayout & StackLayout Components

New component Customer Feedback

The GridLayout & StackLayout UI components will help developers who transition from desktop development to build and arrange web layout in a familiar way by stacking UI components within ASP.NET MVC applications.

Avatar Component

New component R1 2022

The new Avatar UI for ASP.NET MVC component will come in handy when you need to implement application options for initials, icons, or images representing people or objects.

Data Grid Features

New feature

In the upcoming releases, we plan to enhance the ASP.NET MVC Grid UI component with multiple features including:

  • Multi-sort CTRL+Click behavior
  • Option to fit all columns width to content
  • Rows drag & drop as built-in feature
  • Support for non-string fields in Grid search
  • and more!

TextBox & TextArea Enhancements

New feature R2 2022

The TextBox and TextArea will soon have the configuration option to turn on or off the Character Counter feature next to the respective element. This ensures better user experience and gives clarity on the Character count as the user is typing in their content. 

TimeDurationPicker Component

New component Customer Feedback

The TimeDurationPicker component is one of the highly requested items in the community and we plan to add it to the offering with capabilities to configure and pick up various time duration intervals: days, hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds.
