Hi Telerik Team,

I am facing an issue with the position of Kendo controls on my page. I am using Chrome browser. The issue persists for Autocomplete, Dropdown lists, date pickers and Grid column menu. As we scroll down the page and then if we try to open the Grid column menu, it opens up much below than it should be and the gap increases as we increase the vertical scrolling of the page. Is it a known issue?

Attached is the screenshot for the same.

Please help me out with this.We are using Kendo controls in every page for our web application.

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for the provided screenshot along with details about the observed behavior.

We have encountered such an issue with two of the older jQuery versions with Internet Explorer, specifically 1.12.0 and 2.2.0. However, it has been fixed with the latest versions. That said, can you try to run the same project with the latest version of either of the major jQuery releases - 1.12.4 of 2.2.4? More information on the matter can be found here:

https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/troubleshoot/troubleshooting-common-issues#widget-popup-is-offset-incorrectly-in-internet-explorer

Also, if there are any styles which are modifying the positioning of the items within the body might cause an offset.

If the issue persists after modifying the jQuery version and ensuring that there are no styles which interfere with the default ones, is it possible for you to send me a sample project in which the faulty behavior can be observed? This will enable me to investigate the problem locally and hence, to provide an accurate suggestion on how to proceed with handling the case.

In my opinion, the Column Menu live demo can be used as a base for creating a sample:

Thanks @Tsvetomir. It fixed the offset issue. The mail prblem was with the jquery version being 2.2.0 and also I was having some styles in the common layout file that was modifying the default offset of kendo controls but the main problem was with jquery. Thanks a ton. :-)
