Hi,
I have a table (grid like) in the detail section.
Is it possible to freeze the table header row when exporting to excel?
Now when exporting it just freezes the hole page header section but I want to include the table header row in the "freeze" and just scroll the data rows in excel.

Hi Mattias,
Only the report page header section acts like native Excel page header section and this is by design. There is no easy way to do what you ask as the Table item can be placed in any data related section, while the native excel header can only be the first "section" in the document just like the report page header.

Ok, that is understandable!
In my page header I just have a logo and some heading text and this does not need to be freezed, as it is by default, how can I prevent this?
I tried to set the DefaultPageHeader to true but then the page header doesn't show up at all.
Is this the wrong property or am I missing something (I want to remove the freeze function completly)?

Hello Mattias,
This is expected behavior of the native excel page sections - the headers/footers are only shown in the print dialog and not in the excel file itself.

Hello Farah,
Please check the Design Considerations for Excel Rendering article, and test the suggested setting for rendering the Page Header/Footer sections in Excel format, which is a logical page layout format.
