Hi Gopinath,
Fonts must be TrueType and installed on the machine where reports are rendered. If fonts are not fully embedded in the report, and they are not present on the machine where report is previewed, the PDF reader will use fallback mechanism to substitute them.
Also the used font must have support for the symbols visualized by the report. For some languages yuo may need to use a Unicode font as Arial Unicode.
For more details about the font requirements, please check Design Considerations for PDF Rendering.

Hi Stef,
We are already using true type fonts, but the client is trying to change the generated PDF to AFP format(which they wanted it to be) they are seeing a blank screen, and the we are expecting this might be because of encoding of the PDF is in identity-H but which should be in ANSI.
Please suggest if this is because of encoding and what can be done to change the encoding to ANSI while the PDF is rendered programatically, or is there any other solution.
Thanks in advance
