Another approach you can consider is building the file yourself, an example of that is available here: https://feedback.telerik.com/blazor/1485764-customize-the-excel-file-before-it-gets-to-the-client

The feature request is to provide such a method. Since it is not available yet, there are two possible workarounds. The best way to know when it gets implemented is to click the Follow button on the feedback portal page with the request.
