Hi
We are using telerik reporting (the pre HTML5 release)
When you export to word from telerik reporting on a webforms report viewer application onto a PC the images and reporting are perfect. However when exporting to word (docx) onto a mac of all types, the images are shrunk??? When I load the file that was not working on my mac onto a pc the images work again?
See attached image example.
Thanks
Duncan

Hi,
The chart is rendered as an image. Check if the resolution on the Mac device is not different. And since the docx is OK on preview with MS Word, what is the preview tool on the Mac?

Hi
I assume it is microsoft office 2011 edition word our clients are using on their macs to view the reports. I have tested on my Mac Air using Mac Word 2011 and it will not render the image large enough. I have had several users contact support to ask why this is happening and we are unsure. Like I said works fine on a PC word version.
Thanks for the help

Have you tried the new visualization options in Telerik Reporting Q2 2013? You can get them from your account.

Hi Stef,
We are experiencing the exact same problem when opening DOCX files on a Mac using Office for Mac.
- Telerik Reporting Q3 2014
- Word 2010 (Windows)
- Word 2011 (Mac)
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Stefan

Hi Stef,
Unfortunately, this will not solve our business need. We need the EMF functionality present in the DOCX for reasons specific to our industry.
Is this not something that can be addressed otherwise?

Hello Stefan,
The issue is logged in our system for improvement, but there is no ETa for the FIX. Thus the only workaround for Office for MAC, to my knowledge, is to turn off the usage of meta files.
