Hello Richard,
It looks like the screenshot attachment has failed as there is not such attachment to your response.
We are not sure what you mean by display outside of the ganttbar. You can take a look at our help article about "Configuring the TimeRuler" which illustrates how to change the size of that part in the control. Hope this is helpful.
If we have missed something could you please describe the scenario in greater detail and attache the mentioned screenshot to this thread.

Hello Vladi,
i have attached the screenshot again. May be failed before through spam-filter.
What i exactly mean, is there a possibility to place a custom text defined in EventContainerTemplate
outside from a task. I.e. startdate and enddate at left and right corner?
Example -> 01.01.2014 ###### Task Description ######## 30.04.2014

Hello Richard,
In the current version of RadGanttView the EventContainer's size is calculated by the code of the control and that size represents a specific time in its TimeRuler. This means that expanding that container's size in order to add the additional labels (out size of it) is not possible with a built-in feature of the control.
We will continue to research all of the possible approaches in achieving the described behavior. If and when we find an appropriate approach we will upload an sample project of it in our GitHub XAML SDK repository. You can follow and keep track of the repository here.
