Some component sizes (SplitPanel, RadDock) are set to 25x25 when upgrading to 2012.3.1017.40.

Hi Sandi,

I our latest official release (Q3 2012) we changed the sizing logic in some of our controls, including RadDock and RadSplitContainer. Please check whether the AutoSize property for these controls is set to true and change it to false. If this does not solve the issue, please send us your application. We will investigate the case further and we will try to find a proper solution.

I am looking forward to your reply.

Is there a list of controls affected by the change in AutoSize logic? I ran into an issue with the PageView control that required the same fix. I'd like to go through my applications and fix everything, rather than run into these issues one at a time and have to submit support tickets for each one.

Hello Don,

Some of the changes will affect only older versions of RadControls and will not cause issues when upgrading from our previous release. Moreover, the changes are at a base level and it is difficult to say which controls are affected.

Still, we know the following:

- RadLabel, RadCheckBox and RadRadioButton do not save their AutoSize property when it is set at design time.
- RadDock, RadScheduler, RadPageView and RadTreeView do not support AutoSize mode. That is why their size will be wrong when this property is set to true. This is a limitation of our framework and not an issue. The solution is to set the AutoSize property to false.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.

Greetings,
Jack
