I have managed to create my first report with Telerik fairly quickly, after battling for several weeks with SSRS.

Anyway, I am trying to make my report prettier and wanted to enclose certain fields in a box. For the life of me I cannot find such functionality.

Also is it possible to define a default border for my report, where the border matches the border defined by the margins of the report.

Thanks,
John

Hello john,

You can use Panel items to organize TextBox items - Design Considerations for Report Item Layout.

Borders of items, sections and the whole report can be set through the item's Style object, via conditional formatting or binding. The priority of applying a styles is described in the Style Inheritance and Overriding article.

The report's margins are a page setting, which can be applied through the report's PageSettings properties or a binding. Thus you can use the same values for the report's PageSettings.Margins and Style.BorderWidth.

Let us know if you need any further help.

Stef
