Hi,

Missing data source components problem is related to issues on installing Telerik Reporting and missing Toolbox items in Visual Studio.

Please download the MSI file after logging into your account and navigating to Products & Subscriptions - Trials - Reporting - Download - Automatic Installation, run the installer to remove the product and then reinstall it. Test also to reset the VS Toolbox.

Further troubleshooting steps are provided in the Telerik Reporting Toolbox items are missing KB article.

Let us know how it goes and if you need any further help.

Hi,

Test to start Visual Studio and then to create a new ClassLibrary project that meets Telerik Reporting system requirements. Then add a new blank report in the project - How To: Create a Report (Visual Studio) ,and check if the report can be opened in the VS Report Designer and if the VS Toolbox is populated with items.
Note that if the project is a Web Site, all reports must be separated in their own ClassLibrary project - Solution Structure (Visual Studio)
.

If Toolbox items are not loaded again, please proceed with the configurations from the Telerik Reporting Toolbox items are missing KB article.

Hi,

On your screenshot the VS Toolbox (on the left) must be populated with Telerik Reporting items, which in the case are missing. This problem is related to the missing data source components in the Report Wizard, which are also Toolbox items - Telerik Reporting DataSource components are missing.

Please give a try to the solutions described in the linked article.

Hi,

Based on your screenshot, you have executed ResetSkipPkgs for VS 2013. Then on starting VS 2013 a package failed to be loaded (indicated by the error).
Since Telerik Reporting items are loaded in VS Toolbox, please check the ActivityLog.xml.

If you need further help, open a support ticket to send us the ActivityLog.xml and details about the used version of Visual Studio.

Looks like your Forum has a bug for a Chinese attach files name.  I rename it. you can check this.

Hi,

By definition the ResetSkipPkgs command allows the loading of VS packages, and it worked successfully to allow Telerik Reporting package to be loaded.

My point was that the error indicates an issue with loading other package in Visual Studio. And if you want to check what is causing the warning on starting VS, you can check the log file generated on executing the above mentioned command.
