Hi,

I am receiving an issue when I upload a file of size 10 MB. The issue is that browser gets frozen immediately after selecting the file for some time(40 seconds for the excel file and I cannot attach the file here as it's accepting max 2 MB), and we cannot perform any activity on the browser. We experienced the same issue on the below link that is given by Telerik team member in one of the threads. Please note that this is happening only on https site, whereas it's working fine on http site.

Telerik demo site:

Below is the thread link where the above link is mentioned to check if the issue exists:

Please let me know if any questions or you need any information.

Regards,

Vijay

Hello Vijay,

I have tested the described scenario with a big Excel file, 12.9 MB and 11 sheets, which you can find attached.

Attached is also a screencast demonstrating the working upload and how to Inspect the network requests via the Network tab of DevTools.

Please ensure there are no browser extensions enabled in Incognito mode that might prevent the proper behavior of the control and there are no JavaScript errors or failing requests in the Network tab.

If the issue is only with this specific Excel file, please open an official support thread where you can attach the Excel file as a .zip archive and the file limit is 20MB.

Hello Peter,

We tried to upload the same excel from a browser that did not have any extensions, it worked fine. Thank you for helping.

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

We are glad that the problem is resolved.

Can you please share the browser extension name for your fellow developers who might experience the same problem in the future?
