Thirteen. The number of awards Telerik collected in the 2012 Visual Studio Magazine Readers Choice Awards.

The Visual Studio community has always been of great importance to us and the resounding response to our work is nothing short of fantastic. It is rewarding and exhilarating to know that you believe in Telerik and its products. We would like to thank all of you who voted for us!

Fact: the number of awards Telerik won this week alone is higher than all awards Telerik won in 2004.

The number of awards may seem a bit high, but it shouldn't come to a surprise. Our portfolio of tools and solutions has been expanding at a phenomenal rate for the last 10 years, and the number of award categories we participate in today is astounding. Back in 2004 we participated in and won ASP.NET-related awards only. This year we entered two new products, which did not play a part in 2011: Kendo UI into the Web Design & Development category, and RadControls for Windows Phone 7 in Mobile Development Tools. In 2013 we will be participating with at least two more products: our recently released Windows 8 toolset, and with the newest addition to the Telerik family of products: the cloud-based Icenium development tool for iOS and Android.

Fact: Telerik won 1^st and 2^nd place in the Software Testing & Quality Assurance category in the 2012 Visual Studio Magazine Readers Choice Awards.
