Meet the ProgressNEXT Speakers for Telerik, Kendo UI & More

Stefan Stefanov (MCPD) is a Product Manager for Telerik products at Progress. He has been working with Telerik products since 2010, when he joined the company. Off work he enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends and reading various technology blogs. You can find Stefan on Twitter and LinkedIn.

Carl Bergenhem is the Product Manager for Kendo UI. Throughout his time at the company he’s covered the entire portfolio of products offered, but mainly spent his time in the web development arena covering ASP.NET Ajax, ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript-based products. He’s passionate about web technologies and has been developing with products like Kendo UI and NativeScript since their inception. In his free time Carl enjoys slaying virtual monsters, snowboarding and playing his guitar.

Iliyan Panchev is a Product Manager for Test Studio. Ten years ago he started as a game tester, because he loves video games, and eventually he realized that breaking software is fun. He believes that a good Quality Assurance Engineer should be involved in all phases of the software development process.

Now as a Product Manager Iliyan has a new mission—to unburden the QA engineer from the test automation problems and to make the tester's workday a more pleasant one.

Andy Wieland is a Senior Sales Engineer specializing in consultative technical sales and Agile methodologies. As a Certified Scrum Master, he has worked with Test Studio for 5+ years, with over 12 total years of Sales Engineering experience. Andy enjoys working closely with customers to help them get the most from the products that make up the Progress end-to-end solution. As a father of two boys, Andy enjoys coaching sports, and being outdoors in ATX.

Richard Zaslaw is a Senior Sales Engineer in the Progress Developer Tooling division. In his 6+ years with Telerik and Progress, he’s covered the entire portfolio of desktop, web and mobile UI toolkits. Recently, he’s focused efforts on Telerik Reporting and the Telerik Report Server, as well as on Kendo UI. He’s passionate about emerging web and mobile frameworks, such as Angular. In his free time, Richard enjoys exploring his PluralSight subscription, catering to his 18-year-old twins, cooking, and his favorite child “Tess” a Boston Terrier.

Tsviatko Yovchev is a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Progress, the creator of the JustDecompile and JustAssembly products and currently leads Fiddler development.

Tara Manisic focuses on using Javascript on the back and frontend to create applications. In her free time she works in her community to educate and learn from other developers.

Sam Basu is a technologist, author, speaker, Microsoft MVP, believer in software craftsmanship, gadget-lover and Developer Advocate for Telerik products at Progress.

Ed Charbeneau is a Microsoft MVP, Developer Advocate for Progress, and expert on all things web development. Ed enjoys geeking out to new tech, brainstorming about future technology and admiring great design.

John Bristowe (@JohnBristowe) is software developer and a member of the Developer Relations team at Progress. He is focused on helping developers target front-end and mobile frameworks with Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript.

Alyssa Nicoll is an Angular Developer Advocate & GDE. Her two degrees (Web Design & Development and Psychology) feed her speaking career. She has spoken at over 20 conferences internationally, specializing in motivational soft talks, enjoys gaming and scuba diving, and has a toothless dog named Gummy. Her DM is always open, come talk sometime.
