The Syntax Editor is a powerful text editor control with built-in syntax highlighting and code editing capabilities for popular languages. Telerik’s Syntax Editor enables users to highlight keywords and operations within the code of their own language. Telerik’s Syntax Editor for WinForms provides users with the following key features:

Virtual Keyboard

Telerik UI for WinForms Virtual Keyboard control allows the input of data without the need for physical keyboard. The interaction with the virtual keyboard is done via touchscreen interface, providing users with an alternative input mechanism that covers multiple possible use cases, e.g. kiosks for flight check in, application submissions, etc.  

Telerik’s Virtual Keyboard for WinForms provides the following key features: 

• Predefined layouts
• Support for defining custom layouts 
• Support for XML files 
• System synchronization: monitoring Windows input language change. When the keyboard layout is changed, the symbols on the keyboard keys are updated based on the current input locale. 

File Dialogs Support for System Custom Places

Windows Explorer features very a convenient feature to mark certain, usually frequently accessed, directories as favorites, so they are on top of the directory hierarchy tree for easy access. We are happy to share that all of the Telerik UI for WinForms File Dialog controls—Open File Dialog, Save File Dialog and Open Folder Dialog—now have the capability to read and display these system custom places in order to provide the end users with the same convenience in a more modern UI.
