.NET 7 Support for desktop viewers and REST service on Windows platform

NEW

• Added support for .NET 7 in the WinForms and WPF report viewers as well as the REST service which they can use as a remote report generation engine. Currently .NET 7 is not supported on non-Windows platforms.

Improved selection bounds and resize functionality for Tables

NEW

• Selecting multiple table cells, rows and columns now provides extended resize functionality. New visual hints display better what is selected and resizes selected items with improved accuracy.

Introduce DataSource property on SubReport item

NEW

• This new property enables passing data from a report to an inner report either by using a Binding or by using a dedicated data source component.

Standalone Report Designer for .NET 6 and above

• "This operation is not supported" error message is shown when using an existing user template for creating a new report.
• Designer is not localized after selecting German language from Menu -> Options and restarting the designer.
• Recent list of open reports is not ordered descending by last open date and time.
• ReferencedAssemblies are only resolvable by file name.
• System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException when closing designer after copying a data source component.

Web Designer

• The FileDefinitionStorage returns an incorrect response when the bytes of the requested resource cannot be read.
• The Components area in grid view is not displayed correctly when Onboarding guide is started.
• The highlighted step location in Onboarding experience is not changed when you resize the browser window.
• The Onboarding window is hidden when the Properties Area is collapsed.
• The Onboarding window is misplaced after scroll.
• The Web Report Designer doesn't provide an option for entering OHLC Mark Values for the OhlcSeries.
• There is a grey overlay instead of a white one on the Properties area onboarding step when alphabetical properties are selected.

Native Blazor Report Viewer

• Preview button is shown when the visible parameter's AutoRefresh property is set to "true".

• The document rendered in PrintPreview mode does not reflect the changes applied in Interactive mode.
• The notification "0 pages loaded so far" stays visible after exporting the report document.
• The page indicator is not updated correctly when loading the viewer contents.
• The viewer does not have a "Stop Rendering" button.
• The viewer does not support Report Server connections.

HTML5 Report Viewer

• Boolean parameter checkbox looks inconsistently small in the HTML Viewer with Kendo SASS theme created with ThemeBuilder.
• Enter key does not open the Export dropdown when accessibility is enabled.
• HTML5 Boolean/Checkbox Parameter is not visible.
• HTML5 Report Viewers' Report Parameters that use the Kendo ListView widget do not work with Kendo UI R2 2022 SP2.

Windows Forms Report Viewer

• The Report Viewer does not reuse the same HttpClient when accessing a remote REST service.
