Category axes. Series pick one by categoryAxis; unbound series use the first.

Buckets the values of a date categoryField into years, quarters or months, so each bucket is one category and the series are aggregated per bucket (summing unless dataset.aggregates says otherwise). Buckets are plotted in chronological order. Omit to use the field's values as they are.

The chart type to render.

Filter/sort/take applied to the data before rendering, plus grand-total aggregates. A series' own aggregation (per-category reduction, e.g. sum revenue per region) is resolved by looking up its valueField in dataset.aggregates — see resolveAggregateFunction.

The chart legend configuration.

Colors for individual categories, e.g. one slice of a pie or one bar. Applies to chart types that color each point (Bar, Column, Waterfall, Bubble, Pie, Donut); a series' own colorField takes precedence.

Preferred rendering engine. When unset, the chart chooses automatically.

Series to render in the chart.

Palette applied in order to the series, or to the slices of a Pie/Donut, instead of the theme's colors.

The chart tooltip configuration.

If false, the chart does not animate when displaying series. Default: theme-controlled.

Value axes. Series pick one by axis; unbound series use the first.

Numeric X axes of Scatter, ScatterLine and Bubble charts. Series pick one by xAxis.

Numeric Y axes of Scatter, ScatterLine and Bubble charts. Series pick one by yAxis.
