Is Telerik Reporting built on top of an xml foundation?

For example, with rdlc, rdlc files are just xml files.

Are the files which underpin Telerik Reporting xml files, or something different?

Thanks

Hi David,

Telerik Reports are actually Telerik.Reporting.Report objects, which can be also serialized in XML through the existing ReportXmlSerializer.

The available Report Designers also allow you to switch between .NET objects and XML through the UI.

On a side note, please note that we cannot guarantee you a response by Telerik representatives in forums. If it is an emergency, please use the support ticketing system where tickets are assigned with a response time based on your support subscription.

Thank you for your understanding.

You guys lost me as a client a while ago, owing to your poor attitude.

Ever since I met a DevExpress representative at my local user group, I get my employers to go with DevExpress.

Those guys really look after us.

Hello David,

I am sorry to hear you preferred other reporting solution, but if it works for you, so be it.

We will still appreciate it if you elaborate on the reason to switch products. Please feel free to post you feedback as a comment here, in a support thread or contact our Sales team.

Regards,
Stef
