Wpf setting problem

When i on visual studio 2010 , i click new project. After i choose C# RadControls WPF application , it will appear a window let me to choose the components and theme but it does not have any WPF setting to allow us to choose. Because of it , i cannot create the WPF application to use.

This is when after i choose from new Project -> under Telerik/Windows -> C# radcontrols wpf application.

Hi Edwin,

The reason why you don't see the RadControls for WPF when you create new project is that the target .NET Framework version doesn't match the version of the target .NET Framework of the RadControls that you have on your machine.

For example if you have installed the RadControls for WPF 3.5, but you are trying to create new project which targets .NET 4.0 then you won't see the RadControls in the Telerik WIzard. If you have installed RadControls for WPF 3.5 then you have to create new project that targets .NET 3.5.

Hi Edwin,

Yes the are. You can download the RadControls for WPF 4.0 from your Telerik account. Just make sure that you download the WPF 4 - Automatic Installation.

Why i do not have any theme to choose like windows form for example , windows 7 theme , expressiondark theme.etc?

Hi Edwin,

In RadControl for WPF all themes are built in the controls' assemblies thus you don't have to add any additional references if you want to use specific theme as it is with RadControls for WinForms and Silverlight.

Here is an article about Settings a theme where you can find detailed info about how to use the themes.
