Hi Bryan,

The WPF version of RadRichTextBox in our to-do list and hopefully it will be available in Q3. Q2 was first official release of RadRichTextBox and we need some more time to port the specific modules to WPF.

Hi Zbigniew Kozłowski,

Thank you for your interest in RadRichTextBox.
We are currently working on the WPF version and will do our best to ship it in Q3 or soon after that. Could you please elaborate what features you are most interested in having, so that we can have them in mind.
Looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes,
Iva

What i need is:
- change font
- change font size
- change font weight
- change font color
- align text left, right, center
- simple tables (like 3 columns)
- cut, copy, paste on right click
- undo, redo
- save as html, rtf and pdf
- page setup (so it will be A4 for example with width and height, like you got in silverlight)
- printing

with such options its not to hard to save it as html. Im using custom control atm with ckeditor, its not so bad, but i cant adjust it to behave like normal editor. I can set width to 210mm and its fine, but cant make footer in IE, pagination is a problem also.
Also it would be great to use such text in Telerik Reports, i mean when i prepare some text, so i could paste it into report.

Hi Zbigniew Kozłowski,

Thank you for getting back to us.
Overall, the features you have enlisted are regarded as high-priority, so you can be looking forward to the shipping of RadRichTextBox for WPF.
We will be counting on your feedback then.

About reporting integration, if I understand correctly, I am afraid that currently Silverlight does not support copy/paste of Rich-Text content, or you have in mind another way to transfer content?

Sincerely yours,
Iva

Hello Zbigniew Kozłowski,

We have made some good progress on RadRichTextBox for WPF but we are still experiencing issues with some features. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the WPF release a bit. In fact, most of the major functionality regarding RadDocument alone and the format providers is already running. We need more time though to port some UI related features and resolve some platform specific issues. This will allow us to introduce a beta of this product very soon after Q3.

As for copying and pasting, it will work in fact better than in Silverlight due to the access to the system-wide rich text clipboard. This will be available once the official RadRichTextBox for WPF is released.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us again.

Kind regards,
Iva

Hi Zbigniew Kozłowski,

Unfortunately, we have still not finished working on RadRichTextBox for WPF. We will be able to introduce a beta version of this control the second half of January. The beta will be fully functional and will be ready for you to start integrating it in applications. We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may be causing you. Hi Zbigniew Kozlowski,

The version we released was a trial only, but with the Q1 Beta, which is expected in less than two weeks, we will ship different trial and development versions and you will be able to use the control without seeing the trial warning.
If that will not do for you, you can open a support ticket and we can send you a non-trial version of RadRichTextBox.
If you have other questions, do not hesitate to contact us again.

Greetings,
