How to get the name of the current tab / how to select specific tab

Sounds fairly simple, although I can't seem to figure it out - How would I go about finding which tab is currently being displayed? And how would I get a specific tab to be displayed, programmatically?

Basically what I'm really looking for is a way to ensure that when the user loads a page, it *always* loads the first tab - at the moment it seems to load whatever the developer has left the designer on.

Toolbox error ...

Trying to install Q1 2008 build I get an error that the Toolbox has stopped working ... I also get this error when I uninstall ....

Any ideas please ?

checkbox with new telerik gridview in header

Hello,

we fill a gridview from a xml file. Now we put a checkbox at each of the rows. But not in front if the "header" with was not posible with the old telerik controls.

At the moment it looks like this

(checkbox = cb)

- header 1
    - cb | row 1
    - cb | row 2
    - cb | row 3
- header 2
    - cb | row 4
    - cb | row 5
- header 3
    - cb | row 6
    - cb | row 7

So that we don't have to select every single row (for example 1 to 3) we have a procedure with does this for us after a mouse click.

Now we heard with the new Telerik controls (Q3 2007) it ist possible like this.

- header 1 cb
    - row 1
    - row 2
    - row 3
- header 2 cb
    - row 4
    - row 5
- header 3 cb
    - row 6
    - row 7

and to activate alle the rows (for example 1 to 3) if we press one of the Checkboxes (for example header 1)

If this is possible, how??

[Solved] Drag And Drop with Grouping

I am trying to drag items from one RadGridView control to a second. I can get the item ID when I do the drop but I cannot get the group ID that I am trying to drop on. GetClientAtPoint and GetElementAtPoint bothe return null.

IE-style progress bar ?

Hello:

Do you have any sample for displaying an IE-style progress bar using RadProgressBar for winforms? (the one with the green boxes that appears in the status bar in Internet Explorer).

I am using the RadProgressBar with ThemeName set to Vista but I want to customize the look of the progress bar.

Drop It down

Hello everyone , I wanna know if there is a way to drop down automaticaly the RadComboBox . In the original VS combobox that was the DropDown property set to true.

Q1 2008 Release Removed Functions

Folks,

I'm all for supporting this product growing as it has tons of potential, but when you come out with a new release, PLEASE provide us a list of depricated or removed functions. As a toolkit developer, one of your highest priorities has to be to ensure backwards compatibility (when possible), especially towards apps built on your products.

I can understand the need to violate backwards compatibility, it does happen, but things like UpdateView() being removed? The project conversion process needs to be improved. If nothing else, providing some documentation as to which object methods and properties have been removed, or at least leaving the old functions in as stubs and marking them as obsolete would be a great help.

I now have 67 errors for properties and/or methods no longer existing, and it's stressful at best to resolve some of these things. Please don't take this as complaining, I just want to see it become a very smooth process like DevExpress and some other controls.

[Solved] Installer Minor Bug

I've got my HDD partitioned with a small C: drive for windows and that's about it. I put everything else on the other partitions.

In the installer I set the installation directory to be a location on the D: drive, but when the installer checks for necessary disk space it checks the C: drive (which, in my case, wasn't enough to continue). I had to make some room on the C: drive in order to install the program onto the D: drive, and everything else works as expected.
