Filter when Columns IsVisible = false

I have data loaded into a Gridview, with some columns visible, others invisible. I am unable to filter on the invisible rows.

1) Is this possible?
2) If so, would you post an example of how to do this.

Hello Mike,

Thanks for writing us. This is a known issue in the versions up to Q3 2007 SP1. This issue does not exist in the new, redesigned grid. Beta version is already available for download on our site. You can find more information in this forum thread:
