Remove RadPanelBarGroupElement from RadPanelbar at runtime

Hello,

I have a radpanelbar with 10 RadPanelBarGroupElements where i want to remove some RadPanelBarGroupElements at runtime. I use this:

this.radPanelBar.Items.Remove(element); // element is a RadPanelBarGroupElement

Inside each RadPanelBarGroupElement there is a radgridview.

this shows up fine, but when the application exits, i get an argumentexception ("parameter is not valid")
the stacktrace shows this: at System.Drawing.Drawing2D.Matrix.Clone()

if i do this instead:
element.Visibility = ElementVisibility.Hidden;
the error doesn't happen, and the element is hidden but still takes up space inside the panelbar (i don't want that).

What is the best way to remove items from a radpanelbar?
i used version 6.1.0.0

Click on RadCalender control

Hi,

If i click on RadCalender navigation for sometime (i click left button of mouse and then hold it for sometime), it show me a list of month as in order:

June2008
July2008
August2008

(As July is current month. )

I need to remove this. if user click for sometime on Navigation. Also, my Calender flicker when i click navigation. Please advice as its critical for delivery.

StretchVertically/Horizontally not working?

We plan to buy your WinControls, so I am testing its possibilities now and I found following some problem. Last year, you promised to fix it: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/thread/b311D-mgege.aspx

Did you fix it? How can I stretch buttons horizontally?

GridViewImageColumn image resizing

Hi,

I am using the RadGridView to display two columns, one is a GridViewImageColumn and another is the GridViewTextBoxColumn. They are bound to a custom object that is used to display the result of an operation. Sometimes the message is longer than the column can fit so I have enabled wraptext and implement my own logic to autosize the row height (seeing that this feature was left out).

The trouble with this is that the icon I'm using to display a visual cue is being resized with the row. It looks awful. How do I prevent the icon from being resized?

RadThemeManager per form?

We are using the Q1 2008 RadControls for Winforms and need some clarification on how many RadThemeManagers per project.

If we have a project with multiple forms... do we need a RadThemeManager per form or can it be used application wide. When we add a theme on one form, the IDE seems to persist the themes collection (in memory) on multiple forms but at runtime we get different results.

We also run into unexpected results when themes are loaded from Resources and the designer does not recognize anything has changed. At runtime the theme shows up correctly but the designer decides not to paint the changes loaded from a resource.

Any changes coming down the pipe to resolve any theme manager changes?

GridHeaderCellElement TextOrientation

I'm trying to set the TextOrientation of a GridHeaderCellElement. When I set it to Vertical via the "Edit UI Elements" options. The code throws a ArgumentOutOfRangeException because the following code created by the "Element hierarchy editor" is placed in the InitializeComponent method:

((Telerik.WinControls.UI.GridHeaderCellElement)(this.radGridView1.GetChildAt(0).GetChildAt(1).GetChildAt(0).GetChildAt(2))).TextOrientation = System.Windows.Forms.Orientation.Vertical;

when I move it to immediately after the InitializeComponent method, nothing happens.
However setting the TextOrientation to Vertical of a GridGroupHeaderItem does work...

what am I missing?

Custom item (row) in GridView

I am looking for a way to add some kind of custom item to a gridview, much like there is a filter item at the top of the grid. I want to add a custom item (basically a row with some buttons in each column) that will stay at the top of the grid like the filter item.

Do you have any recommendations for how to do this?

I'm building a line rad chart, I do not wish any of my points to show so I have turned them off. After drawing the line I want to show only one point along the line. how can I do this in VB code??
