I want to add ShortcutKey ( Hotkey) in default contextmenu of Gridview.

Like,
hiding column ----  ctrl+H
column chosser ----  ctrl+c
Export ----  ctrl+E

How can i accomplish this?
Please put some code to understand, if possible.

Hi,

I used this line ( ThemeResolutionService.ApplicationThemeName = "Desert"; ) in my main form to set the default theme for the application. All works well on my main form. I then added a radRibbonForm and added a few controls to it.

When I run the application the RibbonBar and StatusBar do not reflect the default theme. I tried disabling the Aero support with this line( this.AllowAero = false; ), but I just get an error.

Error 1 'Form1' does not contain a definition for 'AllowAero' and no extension method 'AllowAero' accepting a first argument of type 'TopRate_Advantage.frmCategory' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.

I have a grid which is bound to an object bindinglist. Some properties are of the DateTime type. When some value is null I need to expose them as DateTime.MinValue and format them on CellFormatting, if the value is DateTime.MinValue I set the Text of the cell to String.Empty. It works fine.

But when I export to excel xml it is exported as <Data ss:Type="DateTime">0001-01-01T00:00:00.000</Data> which excel will not read.

How do I solve this?

I am still on RadControls 2009.3.9.1111. I try upgrading to 2010 but it was too much work to upgrade. Will do someday.

Thanks

I have some screenshots of this, but am not sure where I can post it.

With the Stylebuilder open, using a RadTreeView, at IDLE CPU usage is 23% for that process.

I have a quad core, and task manager shows 2 cores at 50% each.

This is during IDLE, I don't even have the window active, and it stays at that usage even when minimized.

I am running on 32-bit Vista Pre-SP1, Intel Core-2 Quad 4GB RAM, Radeon 2900HD.

Hello!

I wanted to customize a listcontrol, so the items are shown horizontally side by side, without a scrollbarthumb and the scrollbuttons on the left/right side of the items.

I already customized the element with the ElementDesigner (removed the ScrollbarThumb and set the orientation of RadListElement/StackContainer to horizontal). But at runtime there is no difference (whole Scrollbar available and orientation vertical)

Maybe someone can tell me how to accomplish this. Maybe there is another control/way to realize this.

Thanks for any help!

Regards

Juergen

Hello!

I've successfully added a RadContextMenu to my RadListControl and now I want to get the clicked/selected Item in de ListControl.

In fact the appearing RadContextMenu takes focus and prevents the RadListControl giving a SelectedItem, I can't get it.

Does somebody know a property/way to get the RadListDataItem which was clicked to show the ContextMenu?

Will be happy for any solution.
Thanks and regards

For a project, i need to resize ToolWindows when they are floating, and are at a certain position at the screen, but the onlocationChange event isn't fired when I move the floating window on the screen

It is fired  before i make the window floating.

I'm using the 2010 Q2 SP1 release.

Hi,

I would like to cancel an edit in the RadGridView as soon as the user clicks another row (or when the grid loses focus).
In the CurrentRowChanged Event i call Grid.CancelEdit but it always returns false and the new row is still in Edit-mode after that.

I found the ActionOnLostFocus property in the knowledgebase but that's for Silverlight and i couldn't find that property for WinForms.

Any ideas on how to get the canceledit working?

Hi Telerik Team,

Please advice if I can change the background colour of Filtering Row in RadGridView, if so then how can I do that. I just want to do that to make it stand out from other rows in the grid.

Many thanks,
