Display dynamically tooltip for disabled RadRadioButton?

I am using Q1 2008 SP1.
I need to display different tooltips for the same RadRadioButton. Also, sometimes the radiobutton is disabled, and I want to still display a dynamic tooltip. By dynamic, I mean the tooltip text is decided in code at runtime rather than being fixed at design-time.

How would I do this? The 'ToolTipTextNeeded' event allows for a constant tooltip to be displayed but not a dynamically changing tooltip, and so I cannot rely on this event.

Tooltip Text Location

When displaying a tooltip for a grid row, the tooltips is more than an inch away from the actual row. Is there a way to control where the tooltip for a row is displayed? Or is this a bug?

ContextMenu in GridView

Hello everybody.

I'm having some problems with applying a custom context menu to a grid view.
While it works without problems for must cases, I encounter problems in these scenarios:

My grid view contains a check box column. I cannot get any kind of context menu opening on that column (neither default nor custom).
I would like to have the custom menu open as well, when someone right-clicks the column header of a specific column.

Set default tab at design time

Hi Guys,

RE: TabStrip 2009 Q2

Sorry if I am being a bit of a dunce, but how do you select the default tab at DesignTime? I can't see a way at the moment and am having to resort to doing it in code with:

tabMenu.SelectedTab = tabMenu_BlahTabItem

I have also tried leaving the tab I want to be the default tab selected when I close the form in DesignTime, but that does not appear to work. I am assuming the IsSelected property is readonly, as I can't change that either.

RadMaskedEditBox and cost entry

I am using the radMasked editBox for currency entry and am having a few issues.
Mask = c
MaskType = Numeric

1. Negative values are not handled nicely.
   The only way to stop a currency field being negative is to press the - sign.
   You should be able to a. Most importantly select the - sign and press delete or backspace
                                        b. Select all the text including the - sign and type over it (currently the new value is still negative)
                                        c. press the + sign should make it positive

2. Is there a way to stop the user being able to enter negative values as we don't want them most time, and all i can think to do is try to stop the - keypress before it is filtered to the control.

3. Another important issue is typing over existing values
if you have a value of $800.12 entered and you select just the 8 and change it to another number lets say 7 the result is $7.12, it took out the 0's following the 8.
This is potentially hazardous, a user could easily rush through and not notice the 0's have been removed and then someone could be out quite a bit of money.

Problem refreshin Caption on hierarchy tabs

Hello, i have this problem that i load the data on separate threads for each template, so when i initialize the datagrid, the caption of my tags have the text loading, and when the data is loaded i want to change it to its original text. The problem is that if i have my row expanded the caption wont change, unless i open another form and then get back to my form again.
Can you please help me on what should i do to solve this? maybe i am missing something.

Progressbar and two values

i'd like to display two values with the Telerik WinForm Progress bar; one value being the progress of a single action, and the second being the progress of all actions. For example, we're sending 5 emails, and performing an operation on each...one value is the progress of the operation of the individual email and the second is the overall progress.

Is this possible? Is there sample code available? I've looked at the documentation and demo app, but need more info.

Master detail gridview

I'm trying to create a master detail view in a radgridview component for data from database. We use a component for database which returns a dataset.
I have RadControls for WinForms Q2 2010 SP2. The tutorial tells me to open the MasterGridviewTemplate from the properties window, but in my properties for radgridview that property doesn't exist. What am i missing?
