I'm trying to extend the default capabilities of Telerik's PropertyGrid with some custom editors. However, I'm a little perplexed as to how to get the RadPopupEditor to work.

Looking at the Telerik Theme Viewer tool, there is a rough example of what I'm trying to achieve with the TextAlignment setting (Although I intend to fill the PopupContainer with other components).

Has anyone managed to replicate this and can point me in the right direction?

I need to host radpopupeditor in radcommandbar. i know i have to use radHostItem. It was possible to do but there was no way to set the associatedControl for the popupeditor because its Element does not have this property. here is the code i managed to get so far:

            Dim cont As New RadPopupContainer
            cont.Controls.Add(New tempControl With {.Dock = DockStyle.Fill})
            Dim pop As New RadPopupEditorElement
            pop.??? = cont
            hostFilter.HostedItem = pop

I have a popunEditor that opens a Container in which I have a filedialog to open a file.

as soon as I select the file the container closes (see attached screen copy)

Is there a way to prevent this to happen and close only on demand ?

I have set the Minimum size to my popupcontainer to 200,200 but it does not seem to stop me from resizing to "very small"

am I missing something ?

Hi,

I'm trying to use the RadPopupContainer/RadPopupEditor to replicate a numerical keypad that should pop up when requested.

To make the keys work correctly, on my previous occasion I was using windows controls. I'd watch the Leave and enter event of a textbox and the Validation of that textbox to drive the appearance of the caret to always be in the textbox whilst click controls outside it..

Im trying to replicate this using the Telerik control set and I've got all 3 events attached to the textbox sited on myRadPopupContainer and none of them are firing at all.

Any advice please?

i wanna have a grid inside the popup editor and set drop down style of popup editor to dropdown because the user can use auto complete like in dropdownlist.

but i wanna auto complete ocure on all grid rows and suggest what the user type. the text must be contains and not start with.

I have a radPopupEditor control and a radPopupContainer control .Inside radPopupContainer , i placed a radGridView. In radGridView there are a lot of data and have a scroll in it , the problem is when i tried to scroll inside the radGridView the popub  is closing  and the radGridView  scroll doesnt works . how can i solve the problem.

I would like to know if it is possible to center the text (I have set the radtextboxitem's textalign to center but this had no effect)

Also I would like the popup to popup or close when i click on the text (I tried to do this in the click event but it didn't behave the way i was expecting).
