Hello Vikram,
Thank you for your interest in the WinForms suite. We expect to release the first version officially in October. The first CTP beta is currently in private testing. We will have the first public beta in about 2 weeks.

It is good that you still intend to do the Win Forms. When you dropped the forum group last week I thought that you may be killing the whole project.
I know that you are running behind schedule, but dropping it from the forum is very obvious. Why do it?
Suggestion: Instead of offering dates and then pushing them back, why not have some kind of graph listing the components and key milestones that need to be completed before beta. Then when a milestone is completed tick it off on the graph. That would give everyone a good idea about the current status without committing to dates. Just a thought…

The new WindowsForms product line is steadily progressing towards the first public release and we are quite happy with the results as we get more and more feedback.
Although most people from the community are interested in getting a time-frame estimate of the milestone releases (betas and official release) we will do our best to add more transparent info on the exact phase we are at. This suggestion will be considered for next major projects in our pipeline.
