When I close the property builder Visual Studio is prety much locked up. When I try to kill the process it then tells me that there is still a modal dialog open. If there is it is not visable. This seems to be intermitant. One other thing. I have had on ocasion where when adding columns to a databound grid it will throw an error that the data memeber value that was entered does not exist then the window disapears.

As far as I understand, the issue happens occasionally. I believe that it is something specific to your case, which causes the VS design-time to become unstable. It is possible to have a relation between locking up and the error when adding columns. I would suggest you to check whether you're using the latest version of RadControls for WinForms (this week we're going to release the new Q2 2008). If the problem persists, please try to reproduce it in a sample project and send it to us so we could test it locally.
