I'm loading my project from a network drive.  The studio doesn't seem to recognize the telerik controls for some reason until I drag one of the controls onto the designer then delete it...

I've got the register tag at the top of the page, and the web.config has the reference as well

<%@ Register Assembly="Telerik.Web.UI" Namespace="Telerik.Web.UI" TagPrefix="telerik" %>

Any ideas?

Hi Steve,

Try adding the controls' assembly to the GAC of your local machine. On aside note please note that your question is not directly related to Telerik controls. You can find useful information on the matte rin some of the follwoing articles:

Storing VS projects on a Network drive
How Do I Allow my Visual Studio .NET Projects to Run from a Network Location?
Projects on a network drive

or search on Google for other possible solutions.
