I was just reviewing Q3'11 Release Webinar Week schedule and couldn't help but notice the complete lack of any mention of Reporting. I've also noticed that on the products page, the road-map is always empty.
What is Telerik's plans for reporting, what type of resources does it have internally to insure we as customer aren't sinking our time and effort into a dead end? What is going to be in Q3 why no Q3 beta like the other products?

Thank you for your questions.
You are correct about the webinars - Telerik Reporting is not covered there very well, although we will probably plug the new features in the Data Webinar.
For Q3, it will offer performance improvements, a new report layout optimized for screen-based report viewing, and watermark support. You can read more about these features in the Roadmap, which we posted a few weeks ago.
Telerik Reporting is evolving, and we will have a few major announcements in this regard around Q1 2012, mostly related to the way end users work with reports. I am afraid I cannot share any more details at this time. We will probably come out with an official statement on what we have been working on early next year. This new [let's call it] enhancement has also impacted our release cycle a bit, but we are very excited by the way it is coming along, and we hope to be able to share our excitement with you in a few months time.

Thank you for the update it is certainly encouraging. I look forward to the new layout option as the HTML viewer experience is one current short coming.
Anything happening on the designer front to make working with report design any faster. A formatting toolbar for common things like alignment, font size, bold, color would be nice.
Look forward to seeing what's in store in the "big" announcement.
