Hi Team,

I have ben searching for the functionality like treeview dropdown along with virtualscroll and should be able to filter the dropdown values. Please would you share/suggest us if you have this kind of functionality available. I have a very huge treeview dropdown with elements more than 20K. Requirements is, user should filter and select values from the dropdown, based on filter it should display all treeview hierarchy. Because of huge number of elements not able to load all the elements at once. so Need virtual scrolling as well.

Hello Rama Mohan,

I am happy to announce that the DropDownTree filtering is currently under development and is scheduled to be released in mid of May (R2) this year. You can check the respective filtering article in our dev channel of the site:

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui-develop/components/dropdowns/dropdowntree/filtering/

Please keep in mind that the dev site is more often updated than the official one. Having said that, some demos may be broken and the article descriptions incomplete.

Regarding the DropDownTree virtual scrolling is currently not supported, but it seems like a nice enhancement to have. That is why I logged a new feature request item in our Feedback portal where the community can vote and make it popular. I added your vote as well:

https://feedback.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/1516919-dropdowntree-virtual-scrolling

We are monitoring periodically the customer demand and will consider providing such an enhancement in the future, based on the interest.

Regards,
Martin
