Hi,

We are looking to implement virtual scroll functionality in the TreeView for Angular.
I have searched the forum and internet but have not come across anything that answers my questions.

Does the TreeView for Angular support virtual scroll?

If so, how do I implement this in the component?

Hello Tejas,

Indeed, the Kendo UI for Angular TreeView does not yet provide support for virtual scrolling. If you have the time, please support the following feature request in our Feedback portal to help us estimate the customer demand for such an enhancement:

Thank you in advance.

Hi Dimiter,

That seems perfectly reasonable. I will go and vote on this feature, now.

Thank you for the guidance!

Hi Spatel,

As described in the Feedback portal thread, linked in my previous response, due to the asynchronous loading mechanism of each nested level of data and the fact that the TreeView does not have a scrollable container by design, introducing a virtual scrolling functionality is not feasible. That is why we will  introduce a "Load more" mechanics for addressing scenarios in which the TreeView contains too many items.

This functionality is in its final stages of development and testing, and should be available for our next official release, planned for mid-May.
