Hi Telerik,

Thanks for the awesome jobs in releasing Q2. I solved many of my problems.

But I face this problem:
I set the grid autoscroll=false, autosize=fill and verticalscrollstate=autohide,

When i add data into grid the vertical scroll bar will show althought it's not needed. And when i scroll  the vertical scroll the scroll is dissappear. How to make it appear when only needed?

I can confirm that the size of the grid is not limited the area. Thank again

Hello eriksurya,

We fixed similar issues with scrollbars in the Q2 release. We could not reproduce your issue. By default VerticalScrollState is set to AutoHide and means that the vertical scrollbar is visible only when needed. Please, could you describe in more details the situation in what the scrollbar disappears? It will be better to send us your application, so we can research this issue.

Sincerely yours,
Jack

To reproduce this problem
Just bind the grid to dataset and try add several data. You will see when you add data into the grid and the vertical scroll bar will appear although we have enough space.
The second one: if you scroll it up using mouse, the scroll bar will dissappear.

Second case:
I set horizontalscrollbarstate=autohide. The horizontal scrollbar will now show when the autosizecolumnmode=FILL. You have to set it to none. this is WHY?

Thanks so much

Hi Jack,

I did faced the same problem based on what eriksurya have described.
This issue only does surfaced after i tried on this Q2 release.

scenario.
Based on 1 entry that have four items inserted into to radgridview. The gridview will only display the last last item with the scroll appeared.

Please advise if you have any further findings.

Best Regards,
Dave

Hi dave,

Can you describe this issue in more detail? It will be great to send us your sample project so that we can review your particular implementation. We found some issues with grid vertical scroll and they will be fixed in the next service pack, but maybe we are missing another case.

Thank you for the feedback. You can send us your project in a formal support ticket.

Sincerely yours,

I am experiencing the same issue in my grid.  I have a grid where data gets bound to a DataTable.  The datatable is updated when a new message arrives and should get rebound.

When I set VerticalScrollState to AlwaysHide the problem doesn't exists, but I guess that if i exceeded the gridview, I wouldn't be able to see that data.

I will send a project over via support ticket.

Hello Don,

Please note that this forum thread concerns RadControls for WinForms. However, judging by the mentioning of the CellLoaded event, I assume that your question is related to our WPF/Silverlight suites. Please open a new thread in the appropriate forum section. This will allow our community to find the topic more easily in case someone else is interested in it.
