I've tried to add a custom ValueTemplate to my DropDownList like it is described in the Kendo demo-section "Customizing Templates" -

It seems that in the current release 2013.3.1119.340 the DropDownList-property ValueTemplate is missing. How do I accomplish a custom valueTemplate without this property? I'm using MVC Razor.

I already answered in the other thread opened on the same subject. Here is a quote of the answer:
This is a known issue, which is already addressed in the latest internal build. I will suggest you give it a try. Other option is to wait for the next official release of Kendo UI due in the mid of next week.
I will ask you to continue our discussion in only one thread to avoid any duplications.
