Hi guys, is there a way to use "rem" instead of "em" on the controls? Using "rem" gives a build error ...

Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom,

Thank you for this interesting question!

Generally, on the server-side 'Rem' units cannot be used with Telerik Controls. Telerik Controls use the .NET UnitType Enumeration which does not include 'Rem', see UnitType Enum.

You can use 'Rem' on the client-side by implementing custom CSS or JavaScript.

It would be helpful if you share more about the scenario you have and the error message you get.

Kind regards,
Doncho

Hi Doncho,

no error message. Just wanted to know id it is possible. Would be nice if it works because it would be more consistent for me. But it is not a big deal, em was here before and didn't do any harm :-)

Cheers, Tom

Hi Thomas,

Although it may be nice to have, it is still not supported. Based on the experience with the related questions by clients, the most frequently used units are pixels and percentages, Em comes after, and questions for Rem have been asked really rare.

I hope you will find the approach that fits best with your needs.
