What is the easiest and fastest way to go back to the previous version of the controls.  I see a folder where it backed everything up in my project.  I am on a tight window for this project so don't want to spend the time figuring out the new errors after updating.  The update was made through the window that pops up in Visual Studio 2019 indicating there is a new version of the controls.

Thanks!

Hi Jerry,

The Downgrading of the Telerik Controls is done in the same way as upgrading it. See Which File Do I Need to Install? and Manual Upgrade

  1. Firstly, remove the references to the current assemblies from the project, and from the Bin folder or from the GAC depending on which one did you use.
  2. Download the installer or the ZIP content of the preferred version from your Telerik Profile: https://www.telerik.com/account/product-download?product=RCAJAX
  3. Run the installer, or extract the ZIP package to your computer.
    • If you have installed it, reference the new version from the install directory.
    • If you have downloaded the ZIP content, unzip it somewhere and reference the Assemblies from there.
  4. Update the references in the project (web.config, Register directives) to reflect the new version.

Please give it a try and let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Doncho
