Unable to View the Telrik Report Design in the telerik 6.0.12.215

we have developed the Telerik Report Design in the trial version 5.3.12.119 and now it was updated(licensed) to 6.0.12.215.we are unable to view the design in latest version.

please help us in resolving the issue.

Hello pavankumar,

The provided information is insufficient for us to determine what might be the problem - is there an exception/error when you open a report in design? Please run manually the Upgrade Wizard which would update all relevant references to the chosen version. If you have manually copied Telerik assemblies in the bin folder, delete them manually.

Hi All,

We have developed the Telerik Report Design in the trial version 5.3.12.119 and have upgraded to 6.0 version after procuring the licence. While we try to copy the design of the report developed in 5.3.12.119 version in to 6.0, the layout disappears. We would like to make use of the report design of the trial version in 6.0.

 

Could you please provide the steps for the same.

Error Message: "Value can't be null ,Parameter name:instance.

Hello Pavan,

Can you elaborate what do you mean by "While we try to copy the design of the report" - how do you "copy" the design? The error you've posted usually indicated incorrect upgrade, so please follow the suggestion from our previous reply - close all reports, run the provided Upgrade Wizard from the Telerik Reporting Menu, rebuild your project and open the report again.
