Please check the attached screen shot.

Hi,

Thank you for writing.

We are aware of this issue and I am glad to inform you that it is already addressed in a silent and an internal build. You can either use the internal build, or to uninstall the current version from your computer, download the installer once again (the silent build) and reinstall the suite with it.

To download the installer:
- Login to your Account
- Click Manage products > DefCraft [version]
- Click the Download installer and other resources button on the right
- Click the Browse all files link in the RadControls for WinForms pane
- Click the Automatic installation link

Please excuse us for the introduced inconvenience. Let me know if you continue experiencing the issue afterwards.

Dear,
Thank you for your reply,
However, I haven't purchased DefCraft yet, I am still in testing phase.
What can I do to get the "silent" build.

Kind regards,
Kamel Balquis

Hello Kamel,

The silent updated is available for all of our customers and trial users. It can be downloaded by simply downloading and installing the suite from our website, once again. Before that, uninstall the previous version.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

I've downloaded the latest installer but the problem is still there.
It seems the "Automatic Installer" is still in version 2012.3.1017, while the latest internal build is 2012.3.12.1031.
Can we expect an updated MSI installer with the latest bug fixes ?

Best regards.

Hello Yannick,

If you uninstall the current 1017 version from your machine, download it once again from your Telerik account and install it on the machine. Then you should be OK working in design time since we have uploaded a silent update to address this issue.

Hello Stefan,

I'm sorry to bother you with this, but I've uninstalled my current version, downloaded and installed the new version and unfortunately I still get the error message in the designer.

I've downloaded the new version via the "Account Overview > Manage Products > DevCraft Complete > Download Installer and other resources > Browse all product files (RadControls for Winforms) > Automatic Installation" path. I'm not using the Control Panel, since I couldn't get it to work with our proxy.

The exception message is the same as Kamel's.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Yannick,

In this case I would suggest that you try the internal build which we have released. It is available for download through our Visual Studio Extensions. If this does not work for you, please open a new support ticket with reference to this forum thread and we will investigate this case there.

Kind regards,
Stefan
