I have just installed a fully licensed version of Telerik Reporting Q2 2013.  When I try to Add a New item to a project now, all I get is the "Initializing templates..." window.  The only way out is to kill Visual Studio.  This happens on VS2013 (Update1) and VS2012.  Adding a new item works on VS2010, but my project doesn't.  Has anybody else had this issue?  I have tried repairing the install, uninstalling and reinstalling, and rebooting, all to no avail.

BTW, the standalone designer works correctly, so the issue seems to be in the VS plugin side.

Here I have the same situation, no controls are draggable from the tool box and even if I use the wizard, the window to select a datasource appear empty. I posted a ticket.

The issue I was having involved not being able to add a report int he first place - or a C# class, or any other new file for that matter.  The issue was resolved by repairing VS2013 (Control Panel / Uninstall a Program (Win7)).  Be prepared to set aside a couple of hours for this process...  Anyway, that fixed it for me.

Hi Peter,
thanks. The article pointed me in the right direction.
I suggest to update such article for VS2012, not sure about VS2013.

thanks for the good suggestion,

Felice
