If I understand correctly, the UI controls for .Net core are specific to .Net core and the UI controls for Kendo Angular are specific to Angular 2. So what should I do if I want to use Angular 2.0 on the front end but I am using .Net core for my backend?

If someone could let me know the differences, advantages of the options so I could make an intelligent decision on how start, it would be much appreciated!

FYI, I am new to .Net Core, Kendo and Angular. I am trying to modernize my skills and figure out what dev stack I want to use going forward.

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Hello Brad,

In general, both approaches can be used and they have their advantages and disadvantages, and the Kendo UI can provide widgets and support for both.

I can suggest checking our article for the integration of the Kendo UI Angular 2+ widgets with ASP.NET MVC Core:

    http://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dataquery/mvc-integration/#toc-ui-for-aspnet-core-integration

Currently, our documentation for the Core widgets is not very complete, but most of the functionalities and the syntax are similar to the MVC widgets:

    http://docs.telerik.com/aspnet-core/introduction

    http://docs.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/introduction

Another options and impressions from the community are highly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Stefan
