Hi  Everybody

I am creating the report on Telerik Q2 2012. I created one master report and two subreport. The master report is just accepted the parameters. The two subreports have two different entity datasources. I can create and run this. But I cannot see the correct format for this in detail section. The one subreport will have the many rows and the other sub report will not have exact number of rows. I am using the page break for each. How should I do to view correct format? I attach the step by step creation by image. You can see the result.png which I got this result. The first sub report has to show some more rows. But these are going to next page. How should I do?

Best Regards

Hello Nge,

Judging by your screenshots, you have two SubReports in a main report aligned horizontally in its detail section. The wider report contains tabular like layout and a groupfooter section where total information is displayed, but it is not shown when the main report is rendered. We have the following questions:
  • Does the groupfooter show if you render the SubReport on its own (with some predefined parameters)?
  • Is the group of this report unbound (no group criteria) or is it grouped by a field from your datasource?
  • Is the PrintOnEveryPage property of the group footer set to True? Does it render as expected if you set it to True?
  • If you navigate to next pages of report (you result show 2 of 20), is the group footer showing in one of those pages?
  • Are there blank pages among those 20 pages i.e. pages with no data at all? If yes, check the following KB article: Telerik Reporting renders blank pages.

If you're unable to identify the problem, it would be best if you open a support ticket and attach a runnable project that we can examine.
