I am using the TriStateCheckBoxes so the user can easily see whether child nodes are selected under a parent node.  The issue I have is that if a user checks all child nodes then the parent automatically becomes checked.  Is there a way to keep the parent from becoming checked unless the user specifically checks that node?

Hi Iggy,

RadTreeView does not support this behavior when three state checkboxes are enabled.

Is there a way to not use the TriStateCheckboxes but manually change the style of the checkbox as I'm building the tree to apply the look myself?  I'd like to give the users a way to let them know if anything is checked below the parents without having to go into each branch of the tree.

Hello Iggy,

This is not possible. Three-state appearance is achievable only when tristate checkboxes are enabled. Also you cannot set the check state property.
