Is there any way to position the tooltip above or below a Sparkchart AreaSeries? Right now - because of the small nature of the chart - the tooltip covers up the points to the right - so you have to move your mouse out of the chart entirely and then back in to get the next point to the right. If you navigate right to left the problem goes away - as the tooltip is off the other direction.

The tooltip position is automatically calculated and cannot be changed out of the box.
What I can suggest is to try the following:
- Offset the tooltip on client hover event with small time out - http://www.telerik.com/forums/tooltips-on-htmlchart#CofwkF4QdUeiUNcs6CM2Iw
- Or cancel the tooltip showing and display RadToolTip - http://www.telerik.com/forums/show-relative-tooltips-once-hover-on-legend#OZlgCGsmxEG40JnroqXrSg
